Before this season

• Civil Service were relegated from Division One to Division Two
• Crouch End Vampires were promoted from Division Three to Division Two
• East Barnet Old Grammarians were promoted from Division Two to Division One
• HSBC were relegated from Division Two to Division Three
• Ibis Eagles were relegated from Division Two to Division Three
• Norsemen were promoted from Division Two to Division One
• Old Garchonians were relegated from Division One to Division Two
• Old Stationers were promoted from Division Three to Division Two

As with most other leagues, the Southern Amateur League was suspended after the country was "locked down" on the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, and was eventually declared null and void.
