- Division Two was abandoned. Alsager Technical College, Alsager Town reserves, Bramhall reserves, Kidsgrove Athletic reserves,
Linotype reserves, Moulton, Norwes Gas, Radcliffe Junior and Rylands reserves all left the league
- In addition:
- Intex left from Division One
- Knutsford were promoted from Division Two to new single division
- Middlewich Athletic were promoted from Division Two to new single division
- Mirrlees left from Division One
- Newcastle Town were promoted from Division Two to new single division
- Pilkington Recreation [St Helens] were promoted from Division Two to new single division
